Dear Tanner Family,
I just learned of your fathers passing on a post by Jay Paterno on facebook containg a very nice photo and story. My sincere condolence on your loss. I met him in the mid 70's at PSU when Brent was there. He was kind enough to give me a signed Oakland A's hat. I have always remembered him fondly as being a very kind man. I've not seen Brent in many years. Hello to Brent and sincere condolence from the Baer family.

Dear Tanner family,
Just learned of the passing of your father. My sincerest sympathies on your loss. I lived in the Clarion area in the 70's & was a huge Pirates fan. I still go & see some spring training games in Bradenton every year, even though we haven't had a Champion since your father took them there. Blessings

My sincerest sympathies to Chuck's family. He was certainly one of the most warm and friendly individuals I have ever met as well as a great manager. He always had time for fans and to sign an autograph. May he rest in peace
