To the best Tio in the world. A man that treated me as his own son. i,m glad you got to see me finish school...where my educational path takes me i'm not sure but you and my Auntie Shirley were the best aunt and uncle a kid like me could ever hope to have in his life...i,m sorry i did not get to say goodbye to you my fondest memories were during my college years and all the times i called and talked to you on the phone and let you know i was finishing school. You were the greatest if it was'nt for you and my Aunt,I do not know how good of a childhood I would have had... All the time me and J would hide around the house and wait for you to come find us and tickle us. You were a great father to me throughout the years and you will truly be missed by me...Rest in Peace Tio u DESERVE IT YOUR NEPHEW RICHIE
As a classmate of Joaquin's at Alvarado School and on to WHS, I will always remember him. It was good seeing him not long ago at our 60th class reunion. My condolences to the Preciado family.
I never respected another person as much as I respected Joaquin. He was a hell of an umpire and a hell of a man.
Rest in peace, Joe.

"Play Ball" will always be my memory of "Queenie" as he umpired so many baseball games from Little League to the colleges. And thanks to him for his years of service to our country.
So sorry for your loss. He was a nice person, always had a smile on his face. With Love Skip& Sue

The first time I met Joe was on the football field where he stepped forward without hesitation and acted as a mentor to me for several years. I always enjoyed his out look on life and could always count on a laugh from him. Joe it was great both knowing you and officiating with you over the years.
