A wonderful, unique and brilliant father, a strong and perservering human being, never to be forgotten, always to be admired and mentored after. Ann Millikan, daughter
Although I did not know him well, I knew him -- he was a legend in my family. May his memory be a blessing.
I never knew Prof. Kahn personally, but I know his wonderful daughter Ann. She had told me so many interesting facts about him, and I felt through her description that I knew him and his accomplishments. Rest in Peace Prof. Kahn. You were well loved by your family. JoAnn & Marty Szott
We lost a great and brilliant man.
Lou was a wonderful man, and I miss him. But I also like this sentiment of Rabindranath Tagore:
"Say not in grief that he is no more,
But say in thankfulness that he was."
What an impressive scientist, creative thinker, and family man! A big loss to all as well as a heartfelt one.

Love thoughts to a great father and scientist. Louis taught me so much about not just knowledge, chess, stamp collecting, camping, loving animals, but also integrity. All whose lives he touched won't forget his sweetness.
Ann, my deepest condolences to you and your family for your Dad's passing.
