mom...I'm thinking about you today with great sadness, I miss you and would love to pick up the phone and hear your voice. So I talk to you anyway. I know I won't get a response but you always were a great listener. I should have given you more to listen to over the years, like you wanted. Daryl and I are doing good, just busy with our lives and trying to make things happen, mostly Daryl at the moment. We talk about you alot and think about the reasons you were proud of us. That feels good. Don't worry we will get married some day and have a family, you were always asking about that. Well, gotta go. talk to you later. Love you, mom.
love always, Kristina

I was looking through the obits for someone else and found your mother. There was a time in Oscoda when the young kids rode the bus with the high schoolers. Frances was in high school at that time and i was in elementary. My memory of her is one of serenity.. she always seemed so serene and kind. Our bus was full of characters and people who had really hard lives and acted out as such.. but not frances.. in the middle of the all the crazy.. she always found the calm. It does my heart good to read the biography here and see that seemed to have carried that through her life. I am saddened to see that she passed at such a young age.. i am saddened to know that so many people are hurting at her passing. .. i remember her devastation when shirley passed.. there is joy in knowing she will be with her now, again.
