Even after two years, seldom does a day go by that I don't think of the amazing things my father taught me throughout the years. I often miss his thoughts and opinions on topics ranging from politics to sports to daily life. I pray on this day he's driving my mom around in a blazing mustang at truly high speeds and she is enjoying it. heck, make that a convertible mustang.

To all of you that knew and loved him and still remember him. Thank you!!

My sympathies to the entire Raesly family. Although I met him once in 1985, it was clear that he was a loving man and father and will be missed. His loving and caring traits were obviously passed on to his decendents, one of whom I had the great pleasure to know and serve with, so I know you must all be saddened.

I am so sorry. I am just now seeing this. I tried to call Dick today but found the number was disconnected. I always try to call Dick every year just before Christmas so I could thank him again for taking care of me and my wife back when we were just getting started. As a fresh new airmen in 1984, Dick took me under his wing and not only showed me the ropes but he became an instant friend. He was a true friend in that he cared for those around him. Many times he would help us and make us feel at home. It was his example that I used to take care of my own men and women assigned to me during my 26 year career in the Air Force. Because of him and his example, he lifted me up on his shoulders so I could achieve Chief Master Sergeant. Thank you Dick for all you did. You were indeed a good and faithful servant. I will miss you deeply. Mary and I will never forget you. Don McCloud, 615-430-9781. I would love to hear from his son if possible.
