An amazing man who leaves a family with so many wonderful memories. I'm blessed to have know him for such a brief moment but long enough to know he was a man of wisdom, intelligence and plan old common sense.
Wish there were words to help heal your broken heart. Sending hugs and prayers to Joanne and your entire family. You were lucky to have had such an amazing Dad. I'm sure he was received with open arms. No more pain. Gone but NOT forgotten.

Al was the most amazing man I have ever met, it was an honor and a privilege knowing him. It is heartbreaking knowing you are no longer with us but also comforting to know that your with Jeannie and Robert. We will miss you papa but I know one day we will see each other again.
You are forever in our hearts,
Love,
Duane, Edwin, Dale and Leslie Marek
Papa you were an amazing man and grandfather. I am so lucky to have had you in my life and teach me so many lessons. I hope to carry on your values and live how you did. Miss you so much, still hard to believe you're not here, but I know you are up there watching over us.
90 years young, positive, tenacious, great sense of humor and a sparkle in his eyes. --- "Al, my life was enriched by having known you, it was a privilege to work with you... I am better at my craft, because of you!" --- Now, one more time, "...Last rep, take a break... and now rest."
Lucky to know papa. He will be missed very much <3

Dad, I miss your sweet smile so much. You were the first man I ever loved and my heart is so broken. I know you are with Mom and Robert now, along with our other family members. I know you will continue to watch me, just from above. I love you so much and miss you. I'll always be your little girl.

Al was much more than a friend. He was my West Coast father, my mentor, my confidant, my Godfather and my Papa. Knowing Al and the entire Simonetti family has been a true blessing. Although his passing leaves a void no one can fill, I can find peace in knowing he is reunited with Jean and Robert. He is Home and waiting for us all. Much Love, Dale
