Both Hearl and Earl were my friends and classmates in HS @ Covina. one thing about Covina HS classmates, we remember our friends. We will all remember Earl. Dean Cook

As nearby neighbors to the Carter Family, living just 3 doors away on Badillo in the 50's and 60's, My sisters Diana & Janis and I very much enjoyed those times during our younger years spent with Earl, his Brother Hearl, Sherry Osborne, Dale and Wayne McKee, John Cloud, The Matus's, Terry Catania, The Stabile's, Ray and John Paterson, Virginia Maples,Vicki Pence,. . . and Others from the nearby neighborhoods. Looking back now, it's easy to see how Earl and Hearl, and in fact their parents included, did much to help teach us youngsters about Family, Respect, and learning to get along together. . . .

Those were indeed pretty wonderful times!
