I was a patient of Dr. Wilkenson. He re-assured me through several tests and procedures related to atrial fib. One example of my experience with the Dr. was a procedure called cardioversion; I was on the table, frightened, unsure...he put his arm on my shoulder and said 'you are doing great...you will be fine' I was.

Every appointment always started with a sincere caring smile, the hand shake of a talented doctor and looking in my eyes, saying 'How are you?'.

Thank you Dr. Wilkenson for being the person you were here on Earth. I pray God takes you into his arms gives you the caring and love that you have given all of us.

I Have Been A Patient From the Original Practice and When He Informed Me That He was Going To Another Practice My Words To Him, Not Without Me I Am going With You. Dear Katherine, Ellie and Tom,

I am so shocked and sad at this news of your great loss. I have been reading some of the entries and tributes here. "the nicest kid ever" "always an encourager" "a gentleman". Tom, my memory of you in my third grade classroom were these exact same things. Your wonderful father has taught you well and left a legacy through you and Ellie.

Katherine, I wish for you peace and serenity as you move on without your beloved.I pray for you and the children each morning and ask our loving God to give you strength.

Doug came from a special high school class. He definitely well represented the heart and drive of many of his classmates to help others. Doug was always an encourager and a gentleman. I hope knowing Doug was loved and will be missed greatly by his 1975 brothers and sisters eases the hurt and loss felt by his immediate family. Class act Doug.
