Thinking of you and your family with many fond memories and praying that God will comfort you during this time or sorrow and that you will be assured of His love, presence and daily care.
I remember when the Mason family moved into our neighborhood many years ago in Roseville, MN. We became friends with his son Al. Mr. Mason was one of the kindest men you would ever want to meet. What a great man. I have some fond memories of him, especially when he came home from work. He always took the time out to sit on the front steps and talk to us, and treated all of so well. I remember in fun when we used to run up to him, grab his pants legs, and yell, "baggies" (the suit pants he wore back then were baggy, and the style in the 60's for young people was to wear your pants tight.) and he would take off after us, in his suit, and tackle us to the ground. It was all in good fun and I remember him being so good about it all. We've always missed you when you moved to California. I'm so sorry for your loss Mrs. Mason and Al.

I have happy memories of you two sitting near the windows of our home in Osaka, Japan when you made an overseas trip. You were gracious guests, though you did wonder about the expensive melons sold in the department store. After serving the delicious fruit I had to assure you the ones from the local market were very reasonable. Thanks again for a special time with us. Clem passed on to heaven last year.
