He was always my "Uncle E" because I couldn't pronounce "Ray". Always other a joke or laugh, he loved his children and took home movies of them all escorting the youngst to the first day of school. He had a really big, big heart. With love, Sherry Oldham Eaton and Daniel Eaton

I was honored that Ray read my book "The House at the End of the Road." We only knew each other virtually, but our virtual contact was utterly charming.

Uncle Ray and Aunt Margi were my favorites. I remember the parties we had at their house. We always had a good time with them. With my fondest memories and love.

Uncle Ray helped shape my life at a very young age. I appreciated and enjoyed the time we spent together.

Ray was so much fun. I remember his love for Egyptology. He took us to the King Tut display. He knew so much that we had a crowd following us and listening to him telling us about the history of each of the exhibits. We all will miss him.
