A colorful character indeed. Who could forget your leisure suits in every color, your green Buick Electra 225, your purple Gremlin (did you ever buy that Rolls Royce you always spoke of?), your "Chinese red" front door, your birthday parties (Did you really sit on a throne with a crown on your head?), your collection of signed DeGrazzias, your 100 rose bushes, your sudden departure. The last time I saw you you said "Oh...are you still around?" Why as a matter of fact I am, and you are not. And that makes me a bit sad, the world is sorely lacking in colorful people like you.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Meyer for 35 years. He had such a colorful personality. He was a true leader and dedicated to his students. He will be truly missed.

I worked at the Chino Unified School District for 28 years and came to know Mr. Meyer well. He was a kind man. I will always remember him. Thanks for the memories Mr. Meyer.

Stuart and Stephanie:

I recall so well that Dick always said "Life is Good". Indeed for him it was. In spite of at times difficult circumstances, he always had an exuberance and zest for life. He was always at the center of attention. Everyone wanted to be around him. No one will forget the wonderful parties, or his famous hospitality. He was a dear friend whom I will miss everyday. He was one of a kind. If this were the Readers Digest, Dick would be in the "My Most Unforgettable Character" section. I celebrate his life and cherish the many times we shared.

I am sorry for your loss Stuart- his birthday parties were really fun and I always looked forward to being there and seeing "King Richard". Your dad was a good man and he will be missed.
