The Truth shall set us free. Chris is in a much better place with his Creator. Justice will be done. I weep with the family for their huge loss.

I will always remember Chris back 37 years ago as the friend who would NEVER utter a negative word about anyone (including our worst high school teachers !) At U.C. Berkeley when we lived in the same House he was lots of fun while still always remaining the consumate gentleman. He was well informed even back then without pushing his progressive opinions and values on those around him. He frequently had co-eds "throwing" themselves at him, but had too much class to take advantage of those situations. Instead, Chris had longer term relationships in both high school and college with absolute knockout women with class...(here's to you Lynn and Cindy). So, Chris, I've pulled out the Berber prayer rug you brought me from Morocco and it's on our bed each night. We will miss you, brother, and never forget you or our good times as friends.

i continue to lose sleep over Ambassador Stevens passing. Unsettling as it is, I find him a martyr of the beauty of freedom. His name includes "Christ" and "Steven" both who were martyrs. While I'm sure it is of little consolation he has a special place in Heaven. God bless you all

Ambassador Stevens, you died a hero to many people in Libya...for they knew you fought for freedom , in a very dangerous part of the world. The US is proud to have had you as an Ambassador. My thoughts go out to you...and your family ! God bless you...and God bless America !!!
