Carole and family My Condolences.
I'm one of the lucky ones to have known Jack personally. Growing up in Crafton, the pick-up games at 2nd Ward school were something to see.
Remember playing baseball in the Crafton Church league with Jack, Bill Donahue and Pauly Montgomery. Went to Honus Wagners to find Jack some spikes and the clerk asked, "What size?" Jack said 14's and the clerk said "how about two 7's?". Also remember the Summer League in Pgh against Ned Fleming, Chuck Cooper and one of the Ricketts boys. We got our butts whipped regularly. Also remember the shoot around at the Gardens with Jack, Maurice and Dr Bill Donahue so many years ago. Some great times with a truly Great Man I know you will miss him.

To the Twyman family, my condolences on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Twyman was a friend of my neighbor (Dick Eubanks in Fort Mitchell KY) growing up in the 1960's. My brother and I will forget having an NBA superstar playing a pick-up game with us wearing his business suit and wingtip shoes. He even DUNKED in his wingtips. Few, if any NBA players (then or now) would be so kind as to play basketball with kids like us.

We've all read the well known stories of his greatness. I just wanted to share my memories of a simple act of kindness by a great man almost 50 years ago.

Rest in peace, Mr. Twyman. You've earned it (a long time ago).

We praying for Jack and the Twyman family. We live in the mid hudson valley where Jack visited and organized the Stokes game for many years. We also fondly remember his days as an announcer with Chris Schenkel. They both made Sundays special.

I had the great privledge of being one of Jack's pilots while he was CEO of Superfoods in Dayton, OH.
What a terriffic and outstanding individual he was to all lucky enough to know him. I have had correspondence with Jack many times throughout the past 30 years and and he has always remained the same consistent and outstanding individual in whenever I would be in the Dayton/Cinci area he would make the time to meet with us for a nice lunch and to catch up on times.
I'm sure I have not shocked anyone by the comments about my long time friend Jack as I just know that when I'm headed to the area from Michigan and want to call to meet with him, I will certainly miss him not being able to pick up the phone, shoot the breeze and then set the lunch time to meet.
I will sadly miss a dear, dear father image/mentor and friend to all!

My condolences to Carol, Jay and the entire Twyman family.

Sincerely God bless
