BAKER, CHRISTINE Springport, Formerly of Maryland Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, January 15, 2014 at the age of 76. She was born in Edgewood, MD, January 4, 1938, the daughter of Frank and Hazel (Price) Caruso. Christine enjoyed watching the Lions and Tigers on TV, latch hook and traveling. She enjoyed the special trips to Maryland three weeks out of the year to spend time with her family and friends. Christine is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Dwayne) Bentley of Albion, Holly (John) Drinkwater of Springport; son, Robert (Lori Weikel) Baker of MD; grandchildren, Jesse (Brittany Coblentz) Petrak of Albion, Nichole (Nate) Hawkins of Rives Junction, Trisha Bentley of Albion; great grandchildren, Natalie Coblentz, Ethan Stahl, Bentley Hawkins, Kendall Petrak; sister, Marion Spicer of MD. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Baker; brothers, Nelson and David Caruso, William Presley; sisters, Jean Devore, Doris Borset. Funeral services will be 3 pm Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 S. Main St. Eaton Rapids with Pastor Charles Kruger officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2-3 pm.
