Dearest Linda and family of Jerry,
Our hearts were saddened as we received the notice of Jerry's death, for we did not know he was so ill.
The bible tell us before we are even conceived, He knows the day He will call us home, it may not have been our time but it was God's time to call Jerry to his eternal home.
We have so many memories of your family and especially Jack as he and Jerry sort of grew up together as 1st cousins in Bangor and then we shared times together as you two lived with us for 6 weeks in the 60's and then of course all these years as cousins we made many more memories. “Sleep Cheep” was one of our favorites and we will cherish these memories for years to come.
We are so very sorry we will not be able to attend the funeral tomorrow, only because of the forecast of inclimate weather, but our thoughts and prayers will be with you as you face these trying days, and we will pray that you will feel God's presence as you're mourning the loss of one Great Giant of a man!
May the heartfelt sympathy of friends and loved ones too, help give you strength enough to bear the loss and may His presence give you strength as your trusting in His power.
