My Uncle Jon was a joy to be around, I spent a few summers with him and my Aunt Susan when they lived in the south. He always had a story to tell and made me feel welcome and was a part of our family. May you RIP Uncle Jon. To Jeff, Sandy and boys Scott, Carrie and boys, my prayers are with you through this time and always.
Jon was a great guy always thinking of others. He was also a valued co-worker always ready to help his customers he also had a great sense of humor. I will miss him tremendously. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Pete and I have lots of good memories of Jon. He was an usher in our wedding. There are MANY mischivous stories linked to Jon and The Boys. Pete's mom always blamed him for one of Jon Martin's tricks.
Warren and Carolyn Pederson
One of the good guys who leaves lots of great memories. Pam Nesselroad-Christianson
I remember Jon as a good friend of my brother Jon's and myself in high school. He spent a lot of time at our house and we had a lot of fun doing nothing and just playing around our barn and with our horses. He was one of my "other brothers" . It was fun to see him at the reunion of our 50th, so glad he made the effort to come. He and Hal have a special place in my heart. Joanne Krebs Spence
Jon was a valued buddy in high school: a man who built friendships and defused conflicts with endless wit and good will. I've thought of him often in recent years--since my wife, Gail, and I decided to retire back to Albion from our 40+ years in Ann Arbor and Miami, FL. In a way, Jon lives with us since we bought his uncle Paul and Thelma Hawes' home on Allen Place. I am saddened by your loss.
Sincere sympathy to the entire family. Jon was certainly one of a kind. We have a lot of memories from the old neighborhood.
May he rest in peace. The family chain is broken but one by one it will link again.
Saw Jon two years ago at his aunt's visitation. He brought joy even at that solemn occasion. He always did that. Fortunately we have lots of joyful memories of and with him and with Sue. Keep those great genes going for years. MJ Henry, '56 classmate and Duck Lake friend.
Being a classmate of John's I will always remember the good memories we shared. He will sadly be missed. My thoughts and prayers to his sons and family. Kay (Paskett) Eagen
Jon was always upbeat and joyful whenever we did things together during high school and directly after high school. He will be sorely missed. Blessings to his family.
