My heart is saddened by the passing of Dante. I had Dante has a student in 7th grade and then again in 9th. I was so proud and happy to watch him graduated from high school. He was a wonderful young man and so kind. I recently talked with him at Krogers and he told me he wasn't doing well. I'm so glad I hugged him and told he how much I admired his strength. May the Lord hold Dante's family in His arms during this difficult time. God bless you Dante in Heaven. Love Mrs. Mclaughlin

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Dante. I am saddened to learn of his passing but I know he is in a much better place. He was a very kind and loving young man that I met many years ago when he was a child. He will be greatly missed. I will be lifting his mother Jackie and family up in my prayers. God bless you !

In 2010, I interviewed and hired Dante into our Kroger store on Argyle St. I was impressed that he was well dressed, had great manners and was very personable. Dante was so appreciative of life, with a quiet, joyful disposition, that it was a real honor to work with him. He didn't advertise nor complain about the challenges life gave him. Dante was a great example of a young, Christian man having a great faith in God. Dante always had a smile on his face. Sometimes, he would quietly and gently just rub his chest a little, and when asked if he was ok, he would respond that he didn't feel quite good. Dante is an inspiration of love and trust and great faith. He will be missed and remembered by us all. With love, Liz Howald
