Alene Shepard

Dear Nancy and Janet, and families,
We remember your Mom and Gram as our kindly, warmhearted long-time next-door neighbor. We know you will miss her very much and our thoughts are with you.

Alene was a wonderful friend to my Mother who was also at Countryside. We got to know her over lunch and dinner and appreciated her friendship, smiles and good spirit. We last saw her about a month ago. We know that she is now among the stars in the heavens looking down on us with love.

Alene was my dear friend. I loved to visit her, surprise her, hug her, talk with her, look at her pictures, hear her talk about her family, see her smile, hear her special voice, so many things. She is precious to me and to our family. She was so kind and sweet to our Mama. I miss seeing her already, and when I see her again in heaven, I know she will be smiling! Love you so much, Alene!!!

She brought a smile to me every day at work, she would play practical jokes on me as if she was a kid. She never lost that playful, cheerful, loving spirit. Rest in peace Alene you are missed.
