Dear Ray, Debbie, Diane, Denise, Shelly, Ricky, and grandbabies,
I'm so very sad to hear of Nita's passing; my heartfelt condolences for your family's loss.
It seems like yesterday when I could just walk over to your house - my second home. No matter how many times I appeared at your door, your Mom always greeted and welcomed me with a smile. I seemed to drop over a lot while your family was eating dinner, and your parents always welcomed me to join you. That was my introduction to the wonderful world of tacos with hot sauce – a treat because we never had these at my house! I was even welcomed and tagged along for mass at St. Mary's. I remember your Mom always so active – golfing, cooking, cleaning, laundry, sewing – yet she always made time for small talk and laughter while keeping her cool in a very busy household. She earned my respect by treating me with respect. Do you think she ever knew all the crazy things we did? :) Ahh the best of times…
Rest in peace Mrs. Uribe. I'll always remember you fondly ~
Sending my love and prayers,
