Rest Peaceful Dad
We gathered together and watched your slowly slip away,
We told you that we loved you and we would be okay.
It's time for you to rest now and no longer be in pain,
We take comfort in knowing that we will see you again.
Our hearts are filled with memories of you and all your love,
We know you'll be watching down on us from Heaven, up above.
Rest peaceful Dad, for you have earned your wings,
The memories, the laughter, in our hearts, forever rings.
In memory of my Dad
