Today I ate steak, I listened to Bad Religion, and I will end my evening watching a b-horror movie. Not that I need reminding of you because you are in my thoughts every single day. Every time I drive my car, every time I listen to music, every time I eat good food, things all around me that inspired you, will always inspire me. I admired you so much and still do, the places youve been, the world that you created. I was in always in constant awe. I know wherever you are there are mountains in front of you and trail below your feet. The books will be plenty, the brew good, and the road will go ever on.
Missing you

Two years now and missing you more and more as each day goes by. Hoping that wherever this journey has taken you; the mountains are higher, the rivers are ever flowing, the fish are always biting and adventure awaits you at every turn. Missing you today and every day and loving you always.

Robert Heie Harrington, words can not express the pain I feel in my heart. I will only remember the good times eleven years of memories a lifetime with you. I will keep you in my heart forever. My first true love. My dread locked adventurer. You made me feel alive. I never stopped loving you even though our paths took us on to new adventures. My heart and prayers go out to all who love you. You will be missed so much Bob. You have left a mark on all of our souls.

Bob - God bless you, love be with you. I will forever treasure the fun memories you helped create with my sister and I - we met you on an adventure and we leave you on an adventure. Like a brother, there will always be a special place for you in my heart. My sister loved you in a way she loved no other - and she always will. oxoxoxox Jess.

Bob,

A picture paints a thousand words
Or so the saying finds….
But what about my memories
One thousand snapshots in my mind.

A little boy with fire trucks and dinosaurs,
A Starwars guy or two,
Some building blocks, a shogun warrior and
A dog named Tippy, too.

A carefree boy with his bunny,
One with Grey Eagle and a chicken here or there,
Ducks and goats and geckos
And showing animals at the fair.

I can see you getting older now,
Adventuresome, wild and free.
Combat boots and Toronto streets,
Dreadlocked Rasta, Dead Kennedy's.

Times of moving on and moving up,
Images of love and loss and life.
Pictures spanning coast to coast
Good times, bad times and strife.

I never knew how important
These glimpses in time would be….
And yet, here I am with just the memories,
A gift from you….to me.

Missing you today and everyday and loving you always,

Stephanie

We all ask how a tragedy of this magnitude could ever happen. Bob's short life was rich and full, and his legacy is one of fearless adventure. He immersed himself in the natural beauty of the world and followed his passion for life. Bob's deep love for family was apparent throughout his 38 years and his strong ties with so many good friends speaks to his fine and compassionate character. Those of us who were privileged to watch him grow up as well as those who shared his later life will forever miss him. For years to come, there will be glorious tales told around campfires and along the edge of sacred waters about Bob Harrington, as his extraordinary life becomes legend.

Bob's IN MEMORIUM: September 1, 2013 HARRINGTON, ROBERT HEIE "BOB" As a result of a tragic hiking accident, Bob passed away on January 24, 2013. Forever held in the ever-lasting embrace of the peaks and valleys of the Rocky Mountains, at sunrise on June 11, 2013, Bob's ashes were lovingly set free by his parents, Ron & Beverly Harrington in a private ceremony. He now rests eternally as one with the beloved landscape that he knew so well while he was here on earth. A special "thank you" to all who sent flowers and cards, provided food, uttered a gentle word of sympathy and kept the family in your thoughts. We are very appreciative for all the kindness shown to us. The family of Robert "Bob" Heie Harrington
