To Jim's Family,
First of all I would like to say how sorry I am for your loss.
I worked at Netegrity when I came to know Jim. He was always professional and always warm. He always knew how to get the best out of everyone at any given moment as he himself gave
his best to all of us willingly and selfishly.
He was never to busy for anybody and did all that he could to help others.
They day after 9/11 I went outside and placed red white and blue ribbons on all of my trees and created a memorial in my yard in his honor. Hundreds of people drove by and stopped and actually got out of their cars to view the memorial and reflect on the events that changed our world. (I never displayed Jim's full name on the memorial)
Today, this memorial still remains on my property for all to see. It has become a "fixture" in the neighborhood as I continue to pay tribute to Jim and all the others.

I will always remember him!

To Jim's family,
More than a year after the tragedy of Sept 11, 2001, I have only just learned today of Jim's death, from a high school contact, and I am devastated. My heart goes out to all of you.

You don't know me, but I knew Jim at Pawtucket West. We shared many friends and many classes. I knew him as a sweet, kind and low-key guy. As I think of him now, I can only picture him gently smiling, never upset or angry.

It is no surprise to me that, reading through this guest book, others who knew Jim later than I miss him terribly, and treasure their memories of him. You will be in my thoughts and prayers always.

Hello, you don't know me, but I attend Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee. Today we had a prayer service in memory of those lost on September 11. We each received a name of someone lost on that day. I got Mr. Hayden. I would like you to know that I am praying for you. I can't even imagine how hard it must be for you and your family. My prayers are with you.

I worked with Jim at Netegrity. I have never known a more ethical, focused, and down to earth human being than Jim. Jim allowed his human side to shine through in a way I will always remember. For Jim's family, my thoughts and prayers are with you today.
