To the family of Ssg Jason McDonald, I want to say how sorry I am for your loss of a true Hero. I do not have any words of comfort for you. But I do want to Thank You for raising a great man , and gave his life for our rights and freedom. I also lost my son Ssg Ryan Maseth in Iraq Jan,02, 2008. He was also in the 5th Group, 1st Batt. I am not acquainted with Jason's family. I recently visited Arlington National Cemetery with my son, who will enter the Army soon. It was there that we learned a little about Jason's story. We were so sorry to hear about your loss and we are praying for your family.
