Today is July 4th. Americans are celebrating with their families. Many of us are remembering our heroes today...I just want to say Thank You, Mr DeFrenn. I still remember.

To the family of an American Hero. I am grateful. I lost my nephew Spc T Caughman in June 2004 and know the price for our freedom that is paid every day by great men and women we love. May God give you the strength you need each day. Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for his friend. May we never take anything for granted and "Always Remember freedom is not free"TDC

I am sadden but yet happy at the same time. There are no words we can say to ease the pain. I've had the priviledge to see and know CWO Jason DeFrenn and to also love him. I didn't get to see him much but always thought about him. Me and my family miss him and will always love him. We are his Aunt and Uncle. Everytime I hear "The American Soldier" by Toby Keith, I am reminded of what happend and feel the pain and sorrow again.Another song I heard was when Jesus was talking to the Father saying "welcome him in, this ones with me, I paid the price for his sins, Oh father oh Father, this ones with me. A very touching song will definetly have you thinking. My son resemble Jason alot and I feel that is a blessing because we still feel close to Jason
