So where is my handyman Dad when I need him?!? Probably cracking up watching my "adventure" today. As I am sure you saw, right after I dropped clients off the work van I was driving ran out of gas on a street about as busy as 26 in Lafayette. I didn't have my cell phone so I asked someone at a car wash to use theirs. Couldn't get a hold of anyone at work so I walked about a mile to a gas station. Bought a gas can, filled it up and some nice man offered me a ride back to the van. Then like a Godsend, he helped me put gas in the van because its a locked tank... Never would've figured out how to get that open... Especially considering I didn't know I had a key. Then I didn't know that you can't just start it. You have to turn the ignition about 6 times so the fuel pump recognizes that there is gas in the tank. We got her going and I got the van filled up and back to work. Did I mention the high is 106 today?!? At least the man didn't kidnap me! Anywho... My day can certainly get better from here... Minus the quarter size blisters on the ball of each foot I now have as battle wounds!
Loving you with all my heart,
Your baby girl
