Christie, I am from your hometown of Yuma, Arizona and went to high school with your sister, Laura. Your brother, Jan, informed me of your tragic loss. I am so very sorry. May God bless you and your children. Christine Hanson Fackler

Christie,

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I have thought about you since first seeing you on the local news. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family (as well as the countless other families who have suffered the same loss) and I pray for you to find the strength to make it through these trying times.

Christie,
I was a college girlfriend of Jeff's childhood friend, Paul Godino. It wasn't until I saw this tribute, that I was positive that this was the same Jeffery Coombs that I knew so long ago. My sympathies are with you and your family. I only hope that, as time goes on, your pain will lessen. May you find solace in the years ahead.

It's hard to know what to say to a wife and children of the victim of such a senseless act of violence. I am sorry for your pain and suffering and hope that his memory in your hearts is an eternal flame of light and warmth.
