FRANCES HENSRUD Obituary

FRANCES M. HENSRUD JERSEY CITY Frances M. Hensrud passed away peacefully on Monday, De-cember 12, at Bayonne Hospital, with her family by her side; she was 65. Born in Jersey City, she was a graduate of Dickinson High School and Jersey City State (NJCU) with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She moved to Washington State while serving her country in both the US Navy and the US Coast Guard, but returned to Jersey City where she worked tirelessly and selflessly to raise her 3 daughters, who were her greatest joy. She was a woman of tremendous generosity, who sac-rificed without complaint to care for her children, grandchildren, family and friends and anyone whom she could help. An accom-plished bowler, she was a member of the Hudson Lanes Bowling League for many years. Frances was a Probation Officer with the Hudson County Proba-tion Department for over twenty years. She is survived by her loving daughters, Vicky Nappo and her husband Michael, Tammy Hensrud Nally and her husband Eamon and Sherri Bu-dinick and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Krista, Melissa, Liam and Ryan; her "boys" Frankie and Johnnie; and a host of friends too numerous to mention, but all very dear to her. Visitation will be at McLaughlin Funeral Home on Thursday, De-cember 15, from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service at the funeral home at 7:15 p.m. Cre-mation will be private. Dear Family,
I might not know this wonderful woman that I have heard so much about in such little time but i do know she has brought some wonderful people into this world. Just know that this holiday season and on coming days you now have an angel like no other looking down on your family. Everywhere you go, everything you do she will be there leading you in the right direction. Most importantly remember she will always be in your heart's. Today will be a sad day yes! but a day when family and friends come together to celebrate a great life and remember why you love this woman so much..Be strong and proud that you can say you were apart of FRANCES M. HENSRUD journey in life.

Dear Vicki and Family, May the Lord comfort you in this special time as you mourn the loss of your mom.She is singing with the angels this Christmas and will always be looking down on her family. You had shared with me how much she loved the whole family and how hard she worked to support all of you.Now she has her Christmas present and is home with Jesus. She will now be able to help all of you much more in her new role in eternal life as your guardian angel. Her pain and suffering is over and her new life is beginning. You will miss her but she will always be in your hearts.Nothing could ever erase the many happy memories you have.Treasure them, pray to her and tell her thank you for all that she has done.Life is a journey and we travel it together.
