A wonderful man, magnificent footballer, a treasure in society but most of all a loving father, husband, son and family man. You will be sadly missed. Your passing a left a huge hole in this world that will never be filled in. Even though I am not a Melbourne FC Supporter, I always respected and enjoyed the way that you played the game and conducted yourself in public. Hopefully the young footballers can learn by your example.
Through your battle with cancer you taught us all about dignity and strength.
The world has lost a truly lost one of it's greatest teachers. You will be always remembered.
May your family realise that they are not alone and that they too are loved in their time of sadness.
VALE JIM STYNES.
