John was my next door neighbor from the time I was born (1965) until I left for college in 1983. My parents Kim and Gunther Thalheimer are german immigrants and from the time they moved in in 1960 until Johns passing in 2010 they remained good friends and neighbors. Even though John is a TRUE hero and a man proud of his accomplishments he was always low key, a friend, a man of wisdom- Uncle Jack I will miss you- Until we meet again!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Agnew at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France in April of 2007. I even was able to get a picture with him that is very dear to my heart. You are a true American HERO! May GOD Bless You Jack!
