Johnny, as we called him in high school, was a class guy in every respect. A straight shooter to everyone, he had a positive outlook, was very intelligent, had his feet firmly on the ground, and had a vision for his future. People like Johnny seldom fail in life, so I was right when I said he would be successful at every endeavor. We lost touch after graduation, but, somehow, I knew we'd hear from him again. Johnny, you are a credit to God, to your family, and to America. Rest well, my friend. Better days are ahead.

Covey Campbell, Class of '55
