My mother was a vivid reader of the Ebony magazine. When Mr. Johnson started the Ebony Jr! she subscribed it for me. It helped me so much during my younger years (1980). I still have the October 1980 issue. He has touched so many lives in a great way. Mr. Johonson will be truley missed by many of us.

To the Johnson Family:
I sincerely offer my condolences to you. Although Mr. Johnson is absent physically, he will be with us in spirit. May God continue to smile on Johnson Publishing Company, as they continue to keep the wonderful legacy alive. Linda, I believe that greatness follows greatness. Be blessed. I'll look forward to every issue for some great reading.
