John was in good company in the "Million Dollar Backfield." When he came to play he gave it his all. That dedication and hard work will always be remembered, "For to this end we are working hard and exerting ourselves, because we have rested our hope on a living God, who is a Savior of all sorts of men, especially of faithful ones."~ 1 Timothy 4:10
Hope to see John in Paradise...John 5:28,29

To God be the glory. For he gave this world such a loving and caring person as Mr. J.H. Johnson. Thank you Mr. Johnson for enduring the heartaches and the the uphill battles to build Johnson Publishing Co. into the greatest publishing company in the world then giving back so much to so many. May God bless you and your loved ones.

As a former employee of Johnson
Publishing Company, my heart goes out to Mrs. Johnson, Linda, and many others who suffered this great loss. During my time of employment at Johnson Publishing Company (1990-1995), Mr. Johnson was a father, teacher, and mentor. I will truly miss him. But, I know that - to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! Mr. Johnson is resting in peace.

Hi my name is Stephanie. I didn't know much about John H. Johnson until i had to do a book report about him in my entrepreneurship class and I now realize that he was a great man who accomplished a great amount of things even though he grew up in a time when African-Americans were treated badly. He also helped pave the way for some entrepreneurs. I know he is truly missed and I hope God may continue to bless his family.

May god be with his family. I didn't know him, but from what I learned through school this man was a great man. I'm doing a research on this man and I'm going to a wonderful job.
