We will always cherish the many dinners at "The Mansion," especially Christmas. This is where nicknames like WTD, JTD, and RonMan were born. Life's problems ignored and world's problems solved were always the order of the day.

"Now take back the soul of John Henry Frederick, whom you have shared with us. He brought us joy, we loved him well. He was not ours. He was not mine." John's favorite passage from "Out of Africa", read at the funeral of Denys Hatton.

I will always hear your laugh and see your beautiful smile pops. I miss you every day. You taught me how to be a patient man and to work hard for what I have and I will forever be grateful that you are my dad.

We will talk again this weekend as we regularly did. We will laugh together and you will tell me those corny jokes that we both laugh so hard about. You and I get it even if everyone else thinks we're dorks and I'm cool with that.

May you forever fly through the clouds now!

I love you,
Your son - Turk Ball
