To the Murtha family,
John will be sadly missed by my family. We have a special conection to John, he had my cousin recieved to West Point 8 yrs ago,now he is a Lnt. in the Army. Thank You Mr. Murtha.

Honorable Representative John P. Murtha will never be forgotten because of his faithful service to the constituents of the 12th Congressional District. I trust he knew how much we appreciated his efforts. Our prayers and thoughts are with him family.

Our thoughts of sympathy, go out to your family. He got the city water for our area and actually called my Mother at her job, to see we had running city water. How many public servants would do that? Nice man, he will be greatly missed.

On behalf of the members and officers of the Slovak Heritage Association of the Laurel Highlands, I would like to offer condolences to the Murtha family on the passing of Rep. John Murtha. We are grateful for all he did for Johnstown and his whole district and especailly for his appreciation of and work to preserve the heritage of the region. It was an honor for me and the Slovak Heritage Association of the Laurel Highlands to be named winners of a Johnstown Area Heritage Association's Heritage Preservation Award along with Rep. Mutha. May you find peace in rememering this remarkable man and his any accomplishments.

To the Murtha Family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of John Murtha. Growing up in Johnstown I was always aware of Congressmen's Murtha passion and commitment to his constituents. He was a champion of Jobs for our community and he will be truly missed.
