To the family of General Shalikashvili:

May your memories comfort you in this most difficult time.

I was proud to serve with and for "General Shali" when he was CG 9th ID and later when he was SACEUR, "General Shali" was a soldiers General and a real American patriot.

My sincere condolences.

In gratitude for the good General's service, patriotism and play-by-the-rules achievements.......Now there's a playbook for all those inclined to heed such.....A manifestation of a life illustrating 'the sky's the limit' sentiment......Glad that he decided to hang his hat with the good guys!
