Was at the Westbury Theatre every time you appeared in the Doo Wop Shows. Loved your songs and your voice, Even in later years, your voice never changed, You still sounded as you did when you first performed 16 Candles. You are greatly missed, We love you

RIP Johnny Maestro. Just found out tonight that you passed. I first met you many years ago before you made it and now thinking back I think you were just shy. That was when you were performing at the Peppermint Lounge. Not long after you made it with the song 16 Candles. I still love that song. I know your singing up there with the angels. Your voice will be missed but your music will never die.

One of my greatest thrills in life was seeing Johnny perform live down the Jersey Shore in Brick and Long Branch.looked forward to his Count Basie show, but he never made it due to illness. His wonderful voice will never be duplicated. God bless you Johnny.
