We will always love you, Johnny Pesky. You are the heart and soul of the Boston Red Sox, and you will never, ever be forgotten.

Thank you Mr. Pesky for your service to this country and for bringing grace, wisdom, passion & integrity to the Boston Red Sox organization for more than 70 years. Rest well and Godspeed.

You were a true class act, always making time for fans and mentoring the young kids coming up in the game with that ever-present smile. Tirelessly loyal to the Red Sox franchise to the end. You will be so missed by Boston and all of baseball. Rest in Peace, #6. It's a hell of a team you put the uniform on for now.

A true hero and wonderful man. You will be missed by all players, but most of all the fans who enjoyed your spirit and hustle.

I only met Johnny once but it was something I will never forget. Good-Bye MR. RED SOX

My deepest sympathy to Johnny's family.

I feel like I've lost a favorite uncle. I met him once, many years ago at spring training in Winterhaven. Johnny Pesky, for me, represented all that is (was) good about baseball and baseball players. I will miss seeing his kind face at Fenway
Rest in Peace,
