Dale A. Dickinson, age 56. Peacefully Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at his late residence. Born on May 6, 1958, to Kay (nee Booklund) and the late Jim Dickinson in Joliet, IL. He attended Joliet Catholic Academy. He was an avid golfer that treasured his Wednesday night golf with the West Side Sports League. He was also a dedicated Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago White Sox fan.
Those left behind to mourn are his mother, Kay Dickinson; fiancee, S. Bee (Fox) Hale; daughters of his heart, Kara Hale and Kali Fox; brother, Butch (Debbie) Dickinson; niece, Angel; great-nieces, Brooke and Simone; beloved aunts, Judi, Sue and Barb Booklund; childhood cohort cousin, Kathy Bailey; his two furry children, Jake the dog and Wacko the cat; and numerous cousins.
A special "shout out" to Dr. Kathy Albain, Oncologist at Loyola Medical Center and fellow Blackhawks fan. Deep appreciation also goes to Heartland Hospice caregivers.
Funeral Services for Dale A. Dickinson will be Saturday, August 2, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Friday, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
