Carlos was my dorm director my freshman year at WKU. He was a kind and gentle person with incredible patience. I put him through a lot that year and he offered sage advice to encourage me to grow up. He had a great sense of humor and cared deeply about those in "his" dorm. It's been 35 years, and I still remember. I appreciate you, friend.
So sorry for the loss of this beautiful, strong n loving man. Will be missed but not forgotten.
Carlos will be missed by so many who were fortunate to know him, rest in peace.

was a spirited colleague who showed respect, concern and love for all those without a voice. A role model and someone I looked up to.

So Carlos was a Vietnam veteran, too. Maybe I didn't spend as much time with him as I should have. But the fact that I never knew about this shows just how humble this man was.
Till me meet again brother love you rest in peace. Save me a seat.
Rest In Peace, Tio Carlos. U will be so terribly missed. :(
Rest in Peace, dear friend.
