Ten years ago your passing changed my life and only for the better. It made a big impact on how I choose to live my life and to make sure I take advantage of the time I have here on earth. I feel extremely blessed to have had you as a role model as a child and the memories of time with you is unforgettable. From fishing in the snow to playing catch in the backyard, you were like a second father, brother and best friend all in one. I have many days walking around with a heavy heart, but thinking of the time we shared brings nothin but smiles. My friend, my hero, my guardian angel. Miss you and love you.

It is hard to believe it has been 10 years since we lost Dr Jonathan Drummond-Webb. Though the years have helped subdue the pain of such a dramatic and sudden loss, nothing can erase the sorrow of knowing that he left behind so many that were willing to have done ANYthing for him -- for the one who had done SO much for our kids. Depression is such a ruthless thief and it has stolen from us a very talented surgeon and a kind and compassionate friend. There is not a day that passes when his name is forgotten for he was my miracle -- Jonathan, "the one God has given".

Our prayers, as always, are with you, Lorraine. May your heart one day mend.

Mary Powers, for "Lil Man" Jonathan Powers -- remarkably 16.5 years old and still going strong!

Dr. Drummond-Webb. I knew you years ago from the Cleveland Clinic. Deep respect for you. Wanted to send thoughts of peace and hope to those who were touched by his life - what a legacy. Honor him by reaching out to those around you - those who seem to need help the least usually need it the most. Love always heals.

I will never forget what you said to me the day I met you. "Marc, I can't save your little girl...but God will through my hands." Those were the words that comforted me Jul 9, 2001 at Arkansas Children's Hospital. The best thing is...HE did! We brought Dakota to your funeral. She was 3 years old and healthy thanks to you. I can only imagine how many children have been lost since then. I told your story to a stranger today. It has brought back tears so deep that I wept like I did when I met you. May God have mercy on your soul and we will meet again my friend. I can never repay you for what you did, except I did something for someone that could never be paid back to me. You taught me that. Thank you and God bless. http://www.facebook.com/marc.kenney1

Thinking of you today and I randomly found this site. Today what seems like yesterday but it wasn't you performed open heart surgery on my son Ethan. He is doing well...he is 23 and has a full time job and is still being followed for his heart. I will never forget the compassion you showed us those many years ago when you sat next to me and said you would take care of him as if he was your son. I'll never forget those words. I so appreciate everything you did for him. You went the extra steps for him and for so many others. May you rest in peace. You are missed by many.
