Jono , where did the time go.i remember our school holidays we spent playing at your house in observatory, your mom and mine trying to play golf, we were so young then and south Africa was our world. Depression? Been there recently, but come on, you were always the strong one. Why my brother from another mother?

God bless , look down on us from time to time and steer us in the light.

JJ I still cannot belive that you are gone. It has been a few years now and I think that this world is a poorer place because you are not here taking care of the little hearts. You were an incredible Doctor and surgeon and I loved every minute I worked with you at Joburg Hospital. I especially loved the times we spent as friends. Take care of Mom as she has just joined you. Love you Nicky

Hi Dr. Drummond-Webb. Just recieved CTA results yesterday for my daughter Rhea. The time is upon us again for another heart surgery. She just turned 10 years old earlier this month on March 4th, and that it because of God and You. I know you have had your healing hands upon her all this time. A full 9 years has flown by since you performed her first, multiple repairs. Thank you for such greatness and work upon her. I have some amount of anxiety and concern that we are going to have to embark on this event without you being the one to perform her repair. I feel like I want her to be as close as possible to your hands during the proceedure; therefore am considering going back to AR for Dr. Imamura to consider doing Rhea's surgery, because I feel he will recognize your work already done, and know what you would do now. But I focus on my faith in God and Jesus, and You. I ask that you please stay close to the surgeon, whoever that may be, to perform Rhea's surgery. Please do your work thru them, and stay close. Rhea is suppossed to have her surgery this summer sometime. I know you will be listening and providing your input and oversight in your own special way. Even better yet, could you please just send a request to God for me? Could you ask Him to please just heal Rhea's heart altogether so she won't even need to have another heart surgery, ever again. Thanks. Will be talking with you again soon. Keep doing what your doin. Thank you forever. Blessings and hugs.

Time SLOWLY makes it better. But it will never heal the pain that you left behind.

jonathan, we met in 1999 at the cleveland clinic. i don't know why we clicked immediately but i went on to become an adult cardiac surgeon. in 2003 i awoke with severe back pain and paralyzed from the waist down, i recovered but spent 2 years learning how to walk again.8 years later i have been cleared to go back to work. I am going back to train in pediatric cardiac surgery because of you. I hope you are finally happy my friend. Love you paul

Dr. Drummond Webb operated on our daughter at one year old at the Cleveland Clinic, and we are positive he saved her life. After surgery he came out and apoligized for taking so long. He told us there was more wrong with her little heart than the tests showed. Heather is a very happy and healthy 13 year old now and we know it was because Dr. Webb did everything he could to save her. I thank god everyday for Dr. Jonathan Drummond Webb.

In reflecting on my own life these past few days, for whatever reason, you came into my mind. I never met you. I came to know of you through the TV series, Arkansas Children's Hospital - Pediatric ICU. I sat in awe of you, your talent, your dedication and your commitment to your patients and their families. The world and those families were so blessed to have you and you were blessed to have such a wonderful wife who selflessly encouraged you to pursue your passion. I pray she is doing well, and that you are with the Lord, and at peace. By the 106+ pages of postings, you were a well loved, well respected man who is still remembered fondly and greatly missed.
