I remember Jonathan coming to visit his dad Phil in Plattsburgh, NY when he was a little boy. Phil was always so proud to have him around, and he was such a neat kid. I remember when he joined the Army and how proud his papa was. Jonathan, THANK YOU FOR BEING FREEDOM'S DEFENDER. I was in Iraq and Kuwait as a medic and I remember all the heroes that came through our EMEDS unit. I think of them often and wonder how their families are, but I find myself thinking of you and your family more than any others. I pray for your wife and Aiden often and hope that their memories of you make them smile every day. God Bless you for your service and sacrifice. We could never repay you or your family, but I promise we will NEVER FORGET.
