I am so sorry for your loss. My sister and I grew up listening to George, my Mom was a very big fan, so much so we played his songs at her funeral in 2008.Now every time I hear "He Stopped Loving Her Today" I will not only cry for the loss of my Mom, but Mr. Jones too .We listened to him so much he was like a member of our family. With our family no one will ever fill his shoes! Love and prayers to you and your family!!!!

George Jones is the greatest singer of county music. I can't remember when I first started listening to his music because there hasn't been a time when I can't remember his music playing in my house. My mother and her brother and sisters all love George Jones and all have been deeply impacted by his music. My mother had 18 brothers and sister and all whom I have had the pleasure of knowing (most have passed on now) has spent their lives listening to his music. Most of us have his picture hanging in our living rooms. I personally, have his picture in my house and in my office at work. I even have his mouse pad. Not only was it my parents, uncles, and aunts that listened/listens to his music, the tradition of idolizing his music and George himself has been passed down to my cousins and I. I have over sixty first cousins and we ALL love George Jones. Even many of my second cousins enjoy his music. He is just like a part of our family. I remember coming home from school and the one way I know my mom was mad before I would get there was that I would hear George Jones blasting through the community. She would be sitting on the front porch with his cassettes blasting, I knew not to mess with her that day. I have been upset since George has passed. Like many fans, I had tickets to his last concert in Nashville. I know that his music will passed down to my children as it was to me. His music and memory will forever be alive. I know my buddies and I will continue to listen to his music every Saturday night like we have for years. This year at our annual Trent Family reunion on June 22, 2013 in the hills of our West Virginia home, my family and I will remember George by having his picture on a cake and his music playing loudly. We are left to now wonder, who will fill his shoes? I think nobody can. We love you George. Sing with angels.

Nancy Jones, My name is Treva Jones i am from Greenville NC. I'm visully impaired and do not drive. If i could drive a car i'd be there. This is my Country Music hero. I have loved George Jones all my life. I feel badly they didn't do more for George to let him know he was the Greatest Country Music singer in this world. I am so glad George got saved in his life.. in this i find peace and happiness. I will see him again. Oh what a great voice in that heavenly choir. I'm thinking and praying for you and your family at this time. God bless you honey. Rest in peace George. I sure do love you, and thanks for that Special George Jones Country music.
