My Mother Norma Lee adored George Jones and always told me that he was the greatest singer that ever lived. Whenever he was on TV singing Mom would say "there's my boy." When I called to see if she had heard that he had passed, Mom said "my boy is gone." I reminded her that she had seen him in concert in Salem, VA about 25 years ago. The family had been hoping Mom would be well enough to see him in concert in Roanoke, VA again soon. From my Mom - God Bless "her boy" and his voice that will live forever in her heart!

My husband and I share your loss. There will never be another one like him. Heaven is blessed to have his voice added to the choir of angels and we can't wait to see and hear him in person again. Bless both of you.
