Very sad to hear that George passed away. I grew up listening to George, and following his career since the late 50's - early 60's. Although, I never had the chance to meet him, I feel like I have lost a life long friend. He was and always will be the "Voice" of country music. God bless Nancy and the entire Jones family.

God looked around his garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never,
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
The Isbell family was sad to hear of the loss of such a great person and music artist...you are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers....the most painful tears are not the ones that fall from your eyes and cover your face, it's the ones that fall from your hear and cover your soul....the world is shedding lots of heart felt tears for your family, but we know one thing for certain...his music will live one, for my 7 year old is a fan :) From the Isbell family: Marvin, Monica, Amber (12) ,Brianna (11) , Chloe (10) ,Heather (9), and Joshua (7) .....Who is gonna fill your shoes now ??? Gone but never forgotten!!!
