I'm 24 years old, and my daddy's had me listening to George Jones since as far back as I can remember. I remember being a kid and thinking "daddy, what in the world do you have me listening to!" I could never thank him enough now. I grew up to appreciate great country music, and I was lucky enough to have seen George Jones play live in pigeon forge at the country tonite theater. Everyone loved him! I still have my no show jones tag hanging up on my wall, and I'm so proud of it! I now have a 5 year old daughter, and my daddy is still to this day listening to George Jones daily. We went to a Justin Moore concert on the day that George passed, and he did a tribute to George. My daughter got so sad and cried for like an hour at that concert. Long story short, it feels like we lost a family member. I can only imagine how the family feels! My prayers are with y'all, but I know he's singing in Heaven right now praising our wonderful Lord, and he's a lot better off than we are!
