We lived in Grand Forks during 1966-67, and were happy with Governor Guy's leadership of the state. May his family and friends find solace in good memories of a great man.

Offering my deepest condolences during this difficult time, I'm so very sorry for your loss, death is something we are never prepared for, but please find comfort in knowing sickness, pain and death will one day be no more.

I had the good fortune of meeting Govenor Guy in the early 70's when my husband was stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base and I was the librarian at o e of the elementary schools on base. I believe the occasion was National Library Week. Both Govenor and Mrs. Guy were gracious and acknowledged that while we were not related, we certainly did have something in common. He was a very special man.
