June Braley Obituary

June (Hayes) Braley, 87, of Bozrah, loving wife of 64 years to the late Gilbert Roy Braley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.

June was born June 1, 1926, in Hartford, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Myrtle (Caye) Hayes. June retired from the Stanadyne Corporation in Windsor after 30 years.

June is survived by her four children, Donna Lavagnino and her husband, Larry, of Santa Maria, Calif., Richard Braley and his wife, Denise, of Franklin, Douglas Braley and his wife, Catherine, of Big Island, Va., and Cynthia Shields and her husband, John, of Bozrah. June also leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

At her request, there will be a private family graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Center of Hospice Care,

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels.
