Lynn and family - I just learned of Geoff's death and am so sorry for your loss. I knew Geoff during my years at Horlick and UW Madison. He was an amazing man. Treasure your memories.

To Lynn and her family and dear Bonnie,
My good friend, Andy Shovers, informed me of Geoff passing away and I was so saddened. The three of us attended all of elementary and high school together. Geoff was multitalented, extremely popular and respected by all. I have very fond memories of him. Susan Matagrano Hill

So So sad

Still having a hard time processing his loss. Such a good guy. We always had such great repartee, going back to Bball at Horlick and party time at UW-Madison. Also good for a lot of laughs. I'm particularly thankful that we met at virtually every reunion and the attached pic is from the last one sent in by Caye and Ross Christensen. The pic just captures Geoff in so many ways. I'll try to find room for it on the Horlick65.net website, where I will also post the obit. RIP, Bailles.

I met Geoff at a ABAM contract interview when we rode together from Olympia to Federal Way. We talked throughout the car ride and never stopped talking until the day he died. He was thoughtful and kind, sentimental and romantic, funny and smart, endlessly curious and optimistic. And persistent? I have so many stories of traveling together and my insistence that we must visit an obscure, barely mapped archaeological site. Our route was usually full of wrong turns, colorful side trips, hilarious misunderstood directions, and a destination not nearly as interesting as the trip there. Such was our life together, a circuitous adventure in which I would be anxious about what was around the next bend, and Geoff assuring me that whatever was coming would be more awesome than we could imagine. Life without Geoff is unimaginable, but I am so proud of him, not only his tangible accomplishments, but the ripple effect of the legacy of the lives he touched.
