Am praying for all of you. Will talk to you later
May 10, 2013
Joy will always have a special place in my heart. I have lost a close and dear friend that I have been blessed to know since we were 8 years old. I am thankful that I was able to spend some time with her last year. We talked and being the Joy that we know and love she was very candid about the battle she was fighting. She touched me so deeply with her courage and determination to live her life to the fullest. Her faith in God to see her through whatever was to come touched all of us.
Tom, I wish we could be there with all of you. Keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss! I have such sweet memories of Joy in church! I loved her entire family. My prayers are with you. Janey

I knew Joy as a friend and as a fellow traveler on the walk of faith. She supported me in times of difficulty and sorrow and she shared in celebrating the good times. She encouraged me when I struggled and admonished me when I needed it like good friends do. She personified for me words like compassion, endurance and courage. Our world is a better place and we are better people for her having walked among us. I will miss her. We all will miss her. Barbara and I are in prayer for the Walker and Bromley families.
